Steps to the sand
There’s no reason to drive to a local beach or pay for parking when you book your vacation at Kingfisher Oceanside. Only steps from your room, rock jetties line this nice sized beach making it feel like you’re on your own private island. Forgot something or just need a break from the sun? No worries, your room is always close by.
Warm waters and gentle surf
Sea Street Beach is located directly on Nantucket Sound which is a body of water that is calmed by the island barriers of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Nantucket Sound Beaches also have the warmest water (72°F in peak summer), making them swimmable from late Spring through Fall.
Lifeguard on duty
In season, Sea Street Beach is manned by lifeguards from morning until evening. Coupled with the calmer waters of Nantucket Sound, this makes it a great beach for families.
Beach Facilities
Sea Street Beach has permanent restroom facilities, as well as a grill abutting the parking lot, serving up sandwiches, fried seafood, and soft serve ice cream.
Beach gear rentals
Make sure to bring your own beach towel, chair and umbrella if you require them. Although, if you’re travelling light, we do have a limited number of high quality beach chairs available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis for $5/day or $15/stay.
